Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

The Code of Ethics and Business Conduct (hereinafter referred to as the "Code") sets out the core values, principles and standards of conduct that govern the activities of the company ILEKTRISIS G. Tsironis & CO LLC and defines the framework of its business operations.

The Code of Ethics and Business Conduct is based on the current legal framework, the guidelines of the international standard ISO 26000 for Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact, which aims to align businesses with 10 globally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption.

The Code of Ethics and Business Conduct of ILEKTRISIS G. Tsironis & CO LLC includes the principles, values and rules that shape the framework of our activities and define the general conduct and practices of the company. It is addressed to all members of the company (management, employees, partners, consultants, etc.) and constitutes a mandatory framework for how we conduct our business activities with our customers, suppliers and partners.

Purpose

Through this Code of Ethics and Business Conduct the company ILEKTRISIS G. Tsironis & CO LLC aims to capture in a single document the set of rules governing its operation, as well as the set of commitments it makes to its employees, customers and suppliers. In parallel, the Code contributes to further promoting ethical integrity, honesty, transparency and proper professional conduct and fosters the development of trust relationships among all stakeholders.

Scope of Application

The Code applies to:

  • All employees and management of the company.
  • Partners, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers acting on behalf of the company.

We encourage and expect the application of this Code by our customers, suppliers and partners. At the same time, we accept the application of stricter codes by customers, partners and suppliers, provided that they would exceed the rules of the present, following their communication.

Core Principles

The core principles and rules of the Company's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct are listed below:

1. Compliance with Legislation
  • We comply with all current legislation, standards and regulations (safety, labor, taxation, environment, technical specifications).
  • We prohibit any illegal activity, including but not limited to: embezzlement, bribery, money laundering from illegal activities.
2. Professional Responsibility
  • We respond with professionalism, transparency and accuracy in quotes, schedules and pricing.
  • We choose suppliers based on quality, reliable delivery and ethical behavior criteria.
3. Respect and Equal Treatment
  • We maintain excellent relationships between employees based on mutual respect, dignity and collegiality.
  • We prohibit any form of discrimination based on gender, age, family status or any other personal characteristic.
  • We prohibit child labor.
4. Fighting Harassment and Violence
  • We apply a zero tolerance policy against any form of violence, harassment or inappropriate behavior.
5. Anti-Bribery Policy
  • We prohibit accepting gifts, favors or any benefits from customers, suppliers or partners of the company, as well as payments or benefits intended to improperly influence third parties' decisions.
  • We allow symbolic low-value gifts and business dinners as part of good business practice, provided they do not violate the law and company policy.
6. Health and Safety at Work
  • We implement strict safety policies and in collaboration with the company's Safety Officer, we have prepared a Risk Assessment Study for the Health and Safety of our employees.
  • Our employees must follow safety instructions and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Failure to comply with safety rules may lead to disciplinary measures.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
  • We protect confidential personal and business data of customers, partners, suppliers and the company.
  • We comply with current legislation on personal data protection (e.g., GDPR) and implement technical and organizational security measures.
  • We prohibit unauthorized disclosure of any document and violation of confidentiality results in disciplinary sanctions.
8. Protection of Corporate Assets
  • We manage company assets (vehicles, machinery, tools, equipment, etc.) responsibly and protect them from loss, damage, abuse, theft, misuse or unauthorized use.
  • Both management and employees of the company respect the tangible and intangible assets of our customers and partners.
9. Environment and Sustainability
  • We implement practices to minimize environmental impacts from business activities and follow environmental protection procedures.
  • We design and execute projects to reduce waste, save energy and protect natural resources.
  • We cooperate with suppliers who follow environmentally responsible practices.
10. Responsibility Toward Customers, Partners and Suppliers
  • We respond with professionalism, transparency and accuracy in quotes, schedules and pricing. Fulfilling contractual obligations and customer satisfaction are priorities.
  • We treat all our partners and suppliers with integrity, meeting our obligations and fostering relationships of trust.
  • We choose partners and suppliers based on quality, reliable delivery and ethical behavior criteria.
11. Competition and Antitrust Policy
  • We operate in compliance with the rules of fair competition and antitrust legislation.
12. Conflict of Interest
  • If personal interests of our partners or employees conflict with the interests of the company, they must report it immediately to the compliance officer.

14. Intellectual Property
  • All technical drawings, studies, specifications, trademarks, logos, project photos and other creative elements produced by or belonging to ILEKTRISIS G.TSIRONIS & CO LLC constitute intellectual property of the company.
  • We strictly prohibit their use, reproduction or redistribution without written permission.
  • We also respect third-party intellectual property rights and expect the same from all our partners.
15. Training and Implementation
  • We provide our employees and partners with training on ethics, safety and compliance.
  • The Code is reviewed periodically and updated as needed to respond to new requirements or legislative changes.
